How to Plan & Pack
ACEP19 offers a jam-packed schedule that sprawls across the convention center and many nearby hotels. Proper footwear is paramount for the amount of steps you’ll be taking each day! The ACEP19 app will be available for download prior to the event and is very helpful for planning your itinerary. You’ll also receive a printed program as soon as you register onsite that tells you everything you need to know to maximize your ACEP19 experience.

“The basics: Comfortable shoes, layers (temperatures in rooms can vary), charge pack (or cord + adapter) for cell phones, reusable water bottle to stay hydrated, your best smile, fun socks for #socksofACEP.”

Embrace the Outdoors
October is a beautiful time of year to visit Denver. The city overflows with scenic paths, gorgeous parks and outdoor dining. Make sure to bring layers, though! The temperature can vary widely depending on time of day.

“Denver is a great walking city! Stay a distance away, walk one of the beautiful parks. Rent B cycles. Get outside!”

“There is a running path along the waterway (South Platte River?) that runs through Denver. One can run or walk with no need to be mindful of vehicular traffic or stop lights for miles. Start from the access near the Convention Center and run south — you will run right by the location of Denver General if you go far enough. And the grade is so little as to be unnoticeable. However, it sits in a man-made “canyon” between the streets on each side so darkness falls a bit earlier than sundown.”
