Front Line Staff Buy-in Critical to Successful Sepsis Bundle Implementation

Severe sepsis management in the emergency department has improved significantly as knowledge and experience has expanded in this area. The negative consequences have been minor and positive outcomes have been significant. It was Dr. Katz’s belief that the CMS sepsis bundle will disappear as its required elements become the norm.
