Finish your time spent on education, networking, and experiencing the best of emergency medicine at the ACEP15 Closing Celebration, presented by EmCare, and bid a fond good-bye to the town that “combines both history and culture in one big little city,” according to Carlo L. Rosen, MD, FACEP, associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. The celebration will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 7 to 11 p.m., at the New England Aquarium.

“The New England Aquarium is a great location on the water, with amazing views of the harbor and Boston. It is one of the best aquariums in the country, with a great penguin exhibit,” Dr. Rosen said.

There really is no better place to close a meeting filled with learning than at the New England Aquarium. Relax and marvel at the vast array of marine life with new friends and colleagues while enjoying music, dancing, and hors d’oeuvres.

The aquarium boasts a giant four-story ocean tank that features a Caribbean coral reef, which houses sea turtles, eels, barracuda, and hundreds more tropical fish. With all of these beautiful creatures at such a spectacular aquarium, it will truly be a night to remember!

Don’t miss the large penguin exhibit that Dr. Rosen highlighted. A crowd favorite, it hosts African penguins, Southern rockhopper penguins, and little blue penguins, the smallest penguin species in the world.

With Atlantic harbor seals out front and several other exhibits throughout, the aquarium features sharks, rays, sea jellies, lionfish, leafy seadragons, and even cuttlefish.

So bid ACEP15 and the great city of Boston farewell with a night admiring all the sea life the New England Aquarium has to offer.

Drink tickets are available for ACEP15 registrants. Shuttles will be provided to and from most hotels in the official ACEP block.
