The Joint Commission has published an infographic that provides patients general information about anesthesia, a list of information to tell your physician, and some Dos and Don’ts for before and after anesthesia. The infographic , available at www.jointcommission.org/speakup_anesthesia_sedation, can be printed as an 11×17 poster for the waiting room or exam room.
