Do you have an outstanding faculty member at your program who excels in resident education? Would you like to recognize his or her outstanding efforts? The American College of Emergency Physicians sponsors a national faculty teaching award to honor outstanding educators in emergency medicine.

The awards are designed to support emergency medicine faculty in their efforts to achieve academic advancement, as well as support the continued academic development of the specialty. The award recognizes superior teaching activities, including didactic lectures, clinical instruction, and the development of innovative educational programs.

Deadline for receipt of the application is April 3. Information and the application are available online at www.acep.org; click on “practice resources” and then click on “graduate medical education.” Award winners will be announced in July 2009.
