One Response to “ABEM’s New Physician Certification Portal Includes Waiver Clause”
December 22, 2025
J. WalkerThanks for abandoning us once again to the mercy of our “overloards” the ABEM…maintaining increased cost and complexity to what is essentially the same as our state requirements. Past a single certification exam to level se t knowledge across the country for all EM programs, ABEM offers nothing and now wants to suppress our rights and extort more money. It’s ACEP’s job to support and defend physicians. This offers NO benefit at all to the physicians and gives ABEM more control. We couldn’t care less what they SAY they intend to use it for. This is a private corporation, not government oversite or regulatory body.
