With a grant from the John A. Hartford Foundation and West Health, ACEP is offering to accredit 20 VA facilities as geriatric emergency departments at no cost. ACEP’s Geriatric ED Accreditation Program was developed by leaders in emergency medicine to ensure our older patients receive well-coordinated quality care, specific to the needs of the geriatric population, during every ED encounter.
