More than 40,000 scouts and adults will attend the 10-day event. Twenty medical clinics will be staffed by physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and registered nurses.

Physicians can volunteer for the entire jamboree or for half of the event.

The Boy Scouts are hoping for a large emergency physician presence to help provide “the best care ever.”

If you are interested in volunteering your services as an emergency physician, contact Ruth Reynolds at Ruth.Reynolds@scouting.org for registration information.
