Dr. Michael Wheelis was promoted to Vice President of Medical Affairs for Health Management Associates in Naples, Fla. Dr. Wheelis, former President of the Mississippi Chapter of ACEP, has held numerous positions at Health Management during his 13 years with the company. Dr. Wheelis will be working closely with emergency physicians and administrative staff throughout Health Management’s 71 facilities.
