ACEP14 Preview: Vol 33 – No 09S – September 2014

The NEMPAC VIP Reception is a chance for NEMPAC to say, “Thank You,” to its most generous donors.

Due to the support of ACEP members, NEMPAC has become one of the top medical PACs in the country and a respected political voice in Washington, D.C. In this critical midterm election year, it is more important than ever that NEMPAC is prepared to support members of Congress and candidates for Congress who make decisions on issues that can profoundly impact our specialty and the patients we treat.

ACEP/NEMPAC Council Challenge
Saturday, Oct. 25–Sunday, Oct. 26, 8 a.m.–6 p.m.
In 2013, 360 ACEP Councillors contributed nearly $200,000 during the Council Challenge to demonstrate their leadership and commitment.

NEMPAC VIP Reception
Adler Planetarium
Sunday, Oct. 26, 6–8 p.m.
To show our appreciation to NEMPAC’s most generous donors, especially those donating at the Give-A-Shift level ($1,000), ACEP’s president is hosting an invitation-only reception. Members contributing $500 or more in 2014 (and residents contributing $50 or more) are invited to this special event. Donations will be accepted at the event for admittance. Shuttle service provided from the Chicago Hilton.

NEMPAC Donor Lounge
Monday, Oct. 27–Wednesday, Oct. 29
9 a.m.–4 p.m.
ACEP members who have contributed $500 or more to NEMPAC in 2014 are invited to visit the NEMPAC Donor Hospitality Suite each day for complimentary refreshments,
laptop/printer usage, and professional neck and shoulder massages.

Enter the Advocacy Drawing
Monday, Oct. 27–Wednesday, Oct. 29
9:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
ACEP members who stop by the Advocacy area of the ACEP Resource Center can enter a drawing for two round-trip airline tickets (AA)if they do one of three things: join the 911 Grassroots Advocacy Network, donate to NEMPAC, or follow our ACEP Public Relations activities on Twitter. Three entries possible per person.
