The Emergency Medicine Foundation (EMF) is the charity of emergency physicians. For 46 years, EMF has provided more than $16 million in grant funds to improve patient care and support emergency medicine investigators. EMF’s mission is to promote education and research that develops career emergency medicine researchers, improves patient care, and provides the basis for effective health policy. Because of its generous donors, EMF awards more than $600,000 in emergency medicine grants each year.
