ACEP congratulates Janis P. Tupesis, MD, FACEP, on being elected President-Elect of the International Federation for Emergency Medicine (IFEM).

Dr. Tupesis is an emergency physician, ACEP member, and faculty member in the department of emergency medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Dr. Tupesis will serve as IFEM President-Elect for two years and then begin his two-year term as President at the 2029 International Congress on Emergency Medicine, which will be held in Dublin, Ireland. His leadership will help advance IFEM’s mission to improve access to high-quality emergency care worldwide.
