    Dr Herbert,

I’ve listened to Jerry and Rick and you for YEARS. Big fan.
I’ve learned LOTS, but the big deal is WHY?.

Periodically you talk about burnout, but….

We have a mission. What makes you(us) tick? This is a discipline that does ‘Gods work’…we’re doing good, fighting evil. How do you shine off political BS, and do the right thing?

(Not everyone agrees on ‘God’ etc…)

Nonetheless, the mission is the REAL DILEMMA..

    Ya gotta give a shit!

This is what a practitioner with 30 years experience deals with.

I read the Bible. I read the Stoics. I meditate on the Buddha. I exercise, eat the right things…

Is there a podcast that addresses how to Live/grow/nurture the discipline that is our calling?

    Medicines easy. Healings a challenge.

    Shawn Brady MD
